Launch Your Home Inspection Career With the Top Team in Texas

Looking to learn from experienced professionals and grow your career?
Join the TLC Home Inspections team and take the next step in your future.

Train With Experienced Inspectors and Build a Lasting Career

The path to becoming a skilled inspector happens in the field. Working alongside experienced professionals during real home inspections provides the training that cannot be learned in a classroom alone. New TLC inspectors begin with our Captain-led training program, where practical experience, guided development, and ongoing mentorship help build a successful career.

Support System

Each new inspector is paired with an experienced Captain who serves as their primary mentor during on-site training.

Focused Attention

At TLC, every inspector receives personal attention. Captains work with small teams so you can get the direct mentorship and support necessary for professional growth.

Personalized Support

The program is designed to adapt to your background and experience. Training typically lasts around four months, with flexibility based on the skills and development required.

The Value of Hands-On Field Training

Every TLC inspector completes field training, regardless of prior experience. Candidates with backgrounds in construction, roofing, HVAC, or other trades still participate in the full program to ensure consistent standards. Training quality can vary from one company to another, so we focus on preparing inspectors to deliver the level of service our clients expect.

  • Classroom instruction introduces the fundamentals, but real learning happens in the field.
  • Every home and system is different. Theirs always more to learn from hands-on experience.
  • TREC and InterNACHI education offers a strong foundation. Our field training expands that knowledge through practical experience.

Commitment to Continued Professional Standards

Even with the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) and InterNACHI requirements in Texas, TLC maintains strict expectations for inspector preparedness and performance that continue well beyond the initial Captain Program training.

TLC Home Inspections Are Expected To:

Have Their InterNACHI CPI Certification by the the End of the First Phase of Training
